Cave Creek Homes For Rent

This house is on a corner lot a block from both the Mississippi River and the 290-acre Audubon Park, one of the largest in the city. The neighborhood, Upper Audubon, was developed after 1884, when New Orleans played host to the World’s Fair. Audubon is a section of Uptown, a mixed-use part of the city,  Many of the rooms have original oak floors; others, hundred-year-old red cherry pine. Additional original features include crown molding, French doors and plaster ceiling medallions.

Common areas are clustered to the right of the foyer, and include a living room with a fireplace and built-in cypress bookcases, a formal dining room and a kitchen. Both the living room and kitchen open to a screened-in porch with a ceiling fan..
